REQUEST FOR GRANTS/ASSISTANCE FOR HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS IN SRI LANKA - CHRYSANTHUS BOSCO FOUNDATION (CBF)

The “Chrysanthus Bosco Foundation” with its motto of “Aiding beyond boundaries” is a Voluntary Social Services Organization / Non Governmental Organization founded in 2017 and registered in 2018 in Sri Lanka under the “Voluntary Services Organizations (Registration & Supervision) Act, No 31 of 1980 as amended by Act, No. 8 of 1998.

The foundation founded in 2017 by Social Services Volunteer, Apparel Sector Professional and Educationalist Chrysanthus Bosco to assist and serve the needy was funded by self earned means of the Founder.

The Foundation’s activities were funded by its Founder for two (2) consecutive years. The third (3^rd) year (2019/20) was a year that welcomed generous funding of members of the Management Committee and certain generous contributors by means of cash and kind in addition to that of the Founder. The fifth (5^th) year (2021/22) is a year that welcomed and continues to welcome generous funding of outside parties including individuals and organisations from within Sri Lanka and Overseas.

Notably, the Foundation has continued in its noble services towards the Needy sans severe hardships and obstacles due to the recurring effects of the merciless Covid-19 Pandemic as a result of the financial assistance, contributions and donations of its Founder/President, Members and Generous Contributors/ Donors.

In order to take the foundation to the next level of serving humanitarian and community needs on a larger scale, the Founder and Management Committee has unanimously decided to invite Embassies / High Commissions of States, Social Services Organizations, NGO’s and INGO’s and Generous Individuals of similar motives and of high standing to join hands with the Chrysanthus Bosco Foundation to broaden its horizon of serving the human race.

Hence, the Chrysanthus Bosco Foundation sincerely and graciously extends its invitation to your generous and prestigious Governments and organizations to join with it to assist the needy in the following manner :

a). If your organization does not have an office or any links in Sri Lanka, to join with the Foundation and assist to facilitate and execute humanitarian assistance by means of funding with donations and assistance of kind in any way possible.

b). If your organization has an office in Sri Lanka and assists in humanitarian needs or does not have an office, yet assists any organization and is still interested in assisting other organizations further.
