About the Foundation 

“Chrysanthus Bosco Foundation” (CBF) is a Humanitarian and Social Services Organization and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in 2017.

The Foundation was Founded by its founder is Chrysanthus Bosco, an Educator, Humanitarian and Social Services Worker and Entrepreneur, been in Humanitarian Social Services since his youth to serve the Community, Nation and World at large in a broader aspect enhancing and facilitating Donors and Contributors from various walks of life to take part in Noble Humanitarian Services in more meaningful and effective manner.

The Foundation has its own Executive Committee headed by the Founder/President Chrysanthus Bosco and a very efficient team.

The special unique feature of the foundation is that the immediate families of the Founder / President, Team, all Contributors and Donors are totally committed and take an active part in all programmes with a futuristic view of taking the foundation forward with a better understanding of its objectives and recognising the needs of the people. 

The Foundation was registered at the Divisional Secretariat, Wattala, Sri Lanka in 2018 and holds a “Certificate of Registration of Voluntary Social services / Non Governmental Organization under Voluntary Social services Organizations (Registration & supervision) Act, No.31 of 1980 as amended by act, No.8 of 1998”

The objects/purposes of the Foundation shall be; 

1. For the purposes of Raising funds and aid in funding Social Services including the following :

i) Educational Services / Scholarships for all age groups

ii) Provision of School books, Stationery, Uniforms, Shoes and other items required for schooling purposes

iii) Medical Services for all age group

iv) Technical knowledge for job seekers

v) Job opportunities

vi) Displaced persons / orphans

vii) Victims of natural disaster

viii) Other Humanitarian and Social services depending on situation

b) Soliciting for job opportunities and providing job opportunities for those in need of jobs

c) Providing Educational services / Vocational Training

d) Providing job opportunities through establishment of enterprises and job providers

e) Providing medical assistance/services

f) Other services

Why we do these services

As a mean of accommodating the needs and looking into the welfare and humanitarian needs of all people from all walks of life (infants to elders) who are in need of aid in some form or the other and as a meritorious service in goodwill.

How services are provided

1. By funding for Humanitarian and Social Services projects (other than job opportunities) to the community and country at large channelled from the personal funds donated by the Founder/President and in some instances by way of contributions by Members of its Executive Committee.

2. By means of Funds received from "CB Holdings" and "Crystal Solutions", two entities owned by the Founder/President Chrysanthus Bosco of the Chrysanthus Bosco Foundation

3. By means of Funds and aid received from individuals and other Humanitarian and Social Services organizations/NGO’s.

4. By extending its invitation further to donors (individuals and other Humanitarian and Social Services organizations/NGO’s ) in Sri Lanka and Overseas who wish to be part of a “Worthy Cause” to join hands with it to serve the needy Community and Nation at large.
